Meet adoptable deaf one year old Australian Cattle Dog mix pup Freckles who is looking for a loving forever home with someone who will cherish her, become her new best friend, make daily positive reinforcement training/socialization/enrichment a priority and always keep her safe.

From her current caregiver: We have a beautiful 1 yr old female in need of her perfect person. Freckles was born 3/7/24, as part of a surprise rescue litter of eleven. We believe she is Australian Cattle dog, Boxer, and German Shepherd. Freckles is very smart and so loving. She knows signs cue for “sit”, “shake”, she is crate trained, and she knows several sign cue. Freckles gets along with cats but she would do best as an ONLY dog in her new home because she does resource guard. She is mostly house trained so she will need a dedicated person by helping her transition in her new home by taking her out often on a leash and signing to her to “go potty” or “go poo” until she gets it.
