Meet adoptable deaf two year old Aussie/Border Collie mix Falcor who is looking for a loving forever home with someone who is REALLY committed to daily positive reinforcement training/socialization/enrichment and who will help Falcor be the best he can be (and always keep him safe).

From his shelter advocate: Falcor has had so many challenges in his short life. He is only two years old. Falcor is also completely deaf. He was so matted from lack of care that he had to be shaved down. Falcor also has a broken leg that is healing. He can still walk and is starting to put weight on his leg. Despite all of that he is joyful and full of love. Falcor seems to get along well with dogs and was not overly interested in a cat that he met at the shelter.
Somebody please adopt this diamond in the ruff! We know somebody will see past his special needs and instead see how special he really is! Please don’t look past this boy because you don’t have experience with a special needs animal. All it takes is the willingness to learn and consistency . Dogs have an amazing ability to adapt.
