Meet adoptable deaf, two year old Edamame who is looking for a loving home with someone who will cherish her, teach her new sign cues using positive reinforcement training method, become her new best friend and always keep her safe.
From her shelter advocate: Meet Edamame: A Little Snack with a Lot of Heart
This pocket-sized party girl doesn’t need to hear the fun to be the fun. She greets everyone — human or canine — with the cutest happy wiggles and a heart full of joy. Smart and eager, Edamame is already learning hand signals like a pro (she’s nailed “sit!”) and is ready to keep impressing you.
She’s also a world-class cuddler, and her petite frame makes her a great fit for apartment living. But what really melts hearts? On walks, Edamame looks up at her volunteer with soft eyes and a gentle wag, as if to say “Thank you for this moment.”
She recently got a break from shelter life, soaking up the love and comfort of a real home. But now she’s back — confused and curled up on a cold kennel floor, wondering why it all slipped away. Still, she hasn’t lost her spark.
Edamame is ready to give her whole heart to someone who won’t let go. Could that be you?
