Meet Echo deaf and vision impaired, 9 month old Australian puppy Echo who is looking for a loving forever home with someone who will make daily positive reinforcement touch training/socialization/enrichment a priority and always keep him safe.
Echo is a Australian Shepherd who was rescued from a hoarding situation in Missouri and is looking for a special family to call his own! Echo is both hearing and visually impaired, so he will need a patient, understanding family willing to take the time to learn his needs, help him navigate the world, and build his confidence at his own pace.
Despite his unique needs, Echo has plenty of potential to be a wonderful companion! He does well with children and other dogs and would likely benefit from having a confident canine friend to help show him the ropes. He does okay with cats, too, though they can sometimes confuse him. He’s never been mean to them, but his future family should be mindful of helping him navigate those interactions safely.
Echo will need a family committed to providing him with the consistency, patience, and understanding he deserves. In return, he has the chance to become a very special part of a family willing to see the world from his perspective. Could Echo be the missing piece of your family?
