Meet adoptable, deaf, one year old Echo who is looking for a loving forever home with someone wo will cherish him, teach him new things by using positive reinforcement training/enrichment and always keep him safe.
From his rescue advocate: Echo was rescued after he was dumped in a rural park in SW Missouri where he sat and waited for days for someone to come back and get him. He is fully deaf and we cannot imagine how scared he must have been. He’s been taken in, cleaned up, neutered, chipped and received all vetting. He’s ready to go to a family who is equipped and ready to give love and life to a sweet deaf baby. He is LOYAL and walks beautifully on a leash making sure his person is always nearby. He sleeps in his crate all night.
The rescuers with Halfway Home Rescue and Transport Mission love him and want him to get the life he deserves. He seems to love female dogs but is territorial around male dogs especially unaltered ones. He doesn’t seem to react to cats. We would love to network him to the right people because we know his family is out there. Transport is available.
