We are so excited to add the amazing deaf dog Echo to our Deaf Dogs Rock Canine Good Citizen Wall of Fame! Not only has Echo earned her Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Award but she has also completed her Novice Trick Dog course and earned her Novice Trick Dog Certificate. A big shout out to Echo’s human mom Nycholle Eckert for showing the world that yes Deaf Dogs Do Rock! Great job Nycholle and Echo! According to my deaf dogs Bud, Nitro and myself, you both totally ROCK! ~ Christina Lee – Deaf Dogs Rock

Echo was born on January 10, 2012 and her original family didn’t want her because she was “dumb.” At that point, she clearly made it her goal to prove them wrong! Fortunately she was saved by a wonderful rescue in NJ and went to an amazing foster family that took care of her until we found each other. We adopted Echo in June 2012 and worked hard to teach her all of her basic commands, along with some fun tricks. By April 2013, Echo earned her CGC title! Also, by June of 2013, she earned her Novice Trick Dog title as well! She is currently just a few trick shy of earning her Intermediate Trick Dog title!
