Meet adoptable deaf dog Duke who is looking for a loving forever home with someone who will cherish him and always keep him safe.

Update 4/12/24: Duke has started having small, manageable seizures. He is on phenobarbital, which has been helping decrease the actual seizures.

From his rescue advocate: Hi friends! Duke is my wonderful foster pup! He had a rough start when he was found in a dumpster in California. A family took him in, but had to hide him from their landlord so the first 6 months of his life he was stuffed into cars and closets all day. Now he’s a rambunctious, lovable pup! He’s great with kids, other dogs, people, cats, vacuums, car rides….really anything is his favorite.

Since he’s been with me we have worked on crate and potty training and he’s doing great! I recommend he goes to a home with another dog so he can keep learning from them. He’s also very mouth, so no young children until he understands how to keep his teeth to himself.
He’s is such a love and he brings SO much joy. I can’t wait to see him with a family of his own.
