Meet adoptable deaf 3 year old Draiman who is looking for a loving forever home with someone who will cherish him, become his new best friend/advocate and always keep him safe.

From his shelter advocate; Draiman came to us from a difficult situation, but it never slowed him down. After just a few days in the shelter, his personality blossomed as we began to care for his wounds and build his trust. Within the first week, he was already outside playing, and we learned that he loves toys, especially balls! We also quickly learned that he will not potty in his kennel; he is fully house-trained and waits for us each morning to go outside since our shelter is not manned overnight.

Draiman weighs around 60 lbs, we estimate him to be 3-4 yrs old. He has the most expressive eyes and ears that make it impossible to say no to him! While he has plenty of energy, he settles down and enjoys his bed after playtime. He has done well with Betty, our shelter cat in the office, but will chase cats outside. Draiman has also done well with other dogs and has quickly become a shelter favorite.

Above photo was when Draiman first came into the shelter and he was in pretty rough shape but he has  heeled up nicely since that day.

We would love to find him a new home where he can share all the love he has to give.

If you are interested in giving him a loving forever home The Stanly County Animal Protective Services is located at 1037 Coble Ave. Albemarle NC 28001
