We all know Deaf Dogs Rock so that is why I wanted to share this story about a deaf Aussie named Red Bone. She is owned by Margaret Bolick in CA. Margaret woke up to some strange sounds the other night. It happened to be 2:00AM and when she looked out she could see truck lights backed up to her back pasture where her horses were. You can only imagine the panic she felt. Right away she let her deaf dog Red Bone out to chase the thieves away so Red Bone ran into the night barking and snarling. To find out what happened next check out the full story below by Carlo Falco for krcrtv.com. According to my deaf dogs Nitro, Bud and myself, we think Red Bone totally ROCKS. Enjoy the story. ~ Christina Lee – Deaf Dogs Rock

HAPPY VALLEY, Calif. – krcrtv.com – Thieves Target Horses in Happy Valley By Carlo Falco
The sheer size of horses makes them hard to steal. But a woman in Happy Valley woke up to find someone trying to steal some of her horses right out of her front yard. Margaret Bolick woke up around 2:00 a.m. one morning to people trying to sneak her horses into a waiting truck.
The thieves had cut the fence and already had ropes around two of their heads when she caught them. She chased after them and set her dogs on them, one of which came back with a piece of jeans in his mouth.
Experts say most stolen horses are sold at auction where they are virtually untraceable. Many of those horses are trucked to Mexico where they are sold to slaughterhouses.
