Deaf Dogs Rock stepped forward and sponsored Boston Terrier Spike when he first came into iRescue in Texas. He was very sick and had to be rushed to the veterinary hospital. We work often with Karla and her iRescue team often (they do great work saving deaf dogs) and we were only to happy to help them out. From what I hear Spike is on the road to recovery!
Astro was lucky because he had an Akita Rescue of Northwestern Pennsylvania pulled him and facilitated shipping him out to California to the Deaf Dog Rescue of American. When Lisa Tipton with DDRA reached out to Deaf Dogs Rock and asked if we could help out with the cost of Astro’s flight we were only to happy to help so we sent the Akita Rescue of NWPA the sponsorship to fly him out West.
Astro is now at Deaf Dog Rescue of America. A big shout out and thanks to the Akita Rescue of NW PA for pulling a deaf dog that was not an Akita. Thanks to our Deaf Dogs Rock supporters who help us sponsor deaf dogs like Astor and also a big thanks to Deaf Dog Rescue of America for helping him out by agreeing to take him into rescue. Hopefully Astro will find a new loving family soon.
