Sometimes I get emails from families who may have a deaf puppy and they aren’t sure what they need to do to find the puppy a home. They often fear the puppy may end up in the wrong hands and so they contact me. I was lucky with this next puppy named Daisy. When the person who emailed me sent me a photo of a tiny female boxer puppy that happened to be in Missouri, I knew I had to send Laurie Metzger one of our Deaf Dogs Rock volunteers an email to see if the rescue she volunteers for had room for Daisy. Deaf Dogs Rock offered to sponsor Daisy into All Paws Rescue in Missouri if Laurie had room at her house to foster Laurie or if one of her APR team members had room.
Laurie got right back to me and said she had the perfect foster home for little Daisy. I was so excited and relieved at the same time so I put her in contact with the lady who first sent me an email looking for help with Daisy. Daisy is so adorable! Now that she is safely in her foster home I keep seeing all these wonderful photos of Daisy having a great time in her foster mom Sarah Anderson and her family.
Daisy with her “foster sisters” Isabella and Olivia having fun!
Daisy will be available for adoption soon. If you are interested in filling out an adoption application go to All Paws Rescue. All Paws Rescue Inc. is an all volunteer non-profit animal rescue organization based in St Charles County Missouri. www.allpawsrescue.info/
Thanks to our supporters who donate to Deaf Dogs Rock we are able to sponsor puppies like Daisy into reputable rescues where they can carefully screen potential adopter. By getting them into rescues like All Paws Rescue, deaf dogs and puppies can be set up for success and have a much better opportunity to live a happy, healthy, and safe life.
Thank you to Lauri, Sarah Anderson and the All Paws Rescue team for helping Daisy get into rescue. According to my deaf dogs Nitro, Bud and myself, you all totally ROCK!
