Update 10-06-2014: Our T-shirt Booster.com Campaign is now closed. We sold 138 T-shirts and raised over $2500 to go towards sponsoring deaf dogs in need of rescue, transporting deaf dogs to rescue, and helping pay for spay/neuter surgeries for deaf dogs to become available for adoption. Thank you, thank you, thank you for helping us get close to our goal. This was our very first Booster.com campaign and we had a little bit of a learning curve but the fact that in getting ready for the booster it got Chris and I to sit down and design a new logo for Deaf Dogs Rock was really worth the time we spent developing the logo together. Our new logo and the money we raised made it all worth the time and energy we put into developing the new artwork (not to mention the additional deaf dogs we will be able to help in the near future). Starting this week, Booster.com will be producing the shirts and shipping them out. Thanks again for your support. According to my two deaf dogs Nitro, Bud, Chris and myself, you all totally ROCK! ~ Christina Lee – Deaf Dogs Rock

Update 10-03-2014: We only have THREE days left for you all to order our awesome new T-shirts from Booster.com. It will be several months before we do another campaign so you might want to think ahead for Christmas and Valentine’s Day! We are offering a teal unisex t-shirt as well as a charcoal colored women’s cut (more fitted with shorter sleeves). The best part about this Booster campaign is the money that is raised helps us help even more deaf dogs by sponsoring them into rescues. We have added a direct link at the bottom of this page. Please share our Booster with your friends and thank you so much for you kind consideration! ~ Christina, Chris, Bud and Nitro – Deaf Dogs Rock

September 18, 2014: Chris and I have thought about doing a Booster.com fundraising campaign for Deaf Dogs Rock. The fundraiser would be to raise funds for our general fund which we use to sponsor, transport and pay medical expenses of deaf dogs in shelters (to get them into a rescue) across the country. Chris and I really wanted to create a brand new logo and T-shirt that would reflect our amazing community of deaf dog owners, rescuers and advocates. This Sunday September 21, 2014 kicks of Deaf Dogs Awareness Week (Sept 21-27) and what better time to do a “Deaf Dogs Hear With Their Hearts” T-shirt fundraiser.

I sat down and did a rough sketch of what I wanted. I wanted very much to include a few of the breeds who we see every single day on our Deaf Dogs Rock FB page. I felt like the dogs should be white because 90% of the deaf dogs we see are white. Here is the rough (very rough) sketch I did on Monday morning.

It turns out I had to many dogs on my original sketch and Chris and I decided to take two dogs out of our deaf dog silhouette.

Here is what we did over the last two days.

Chris and I are thrilled with our new logo. We hope you all join us in launching our very first Booster.com T-shirt fundraiser. We are offering two styles and two different colors.
