We love the rescue folks at Red Hook Rescue in Red Hook, Brooklyn NYC because they don’t hesitate to help deaf dogs/puppies in need of rescue. Such is the case with little deaf puppy Suzie. She is just now starting to recover from being sick and we are so thankful for Rescue Warrior Women like Harriet Zucker who heads up Red Hook Rescue. She advocates for deaf dogs and focuses on rescuing “special needs” dogs (blind, deaf, amputee ect).
Here is what Harriet tells us about Suzie: Suzie is an 8 month old puppy weighing 30 lbs. Suzie is a funny little cow dog that gets along great with other pups (unsure about kitties). Suzie is a puppy so she needs to learn the ropes but she is so full of life and eager to learn. Suzie is deaf, which makes her fantastic in a noisy city, during fireworks and thunderstorms. Suzie would love a home to go to when she is feeling better. We know you can’t resist this adorable sugary sweet face so email rhdrdoggies@gmail.com or message us here on Facebook for an application. Red Hook Rescue adopts from Pennsylvania to Maine, and remember; sharing means caring!
