Spot was on the Euth list for 2/22/16 when we saw his post on Red Hook Rescues FB page. I was concerned because it was already 2/22 so I knew I had to do a financial rescue plea for $200 to go to a 501c3 Rescue who could pull Spot, get him vetted, neutered and into foster care. Well sure enough someone saw our plea and stepped up. He has gone into rescue with Pound Hounds Res-Q. Spot will be traveling from NY to CT to go into foster care.
Thanks to the generous support of our Deaf Dogs Rock Community, we can help poor chaps like Spot into rescue. Thank you, thank you, thank you for continuing to support DDR and help us help deaf dogs like Spot.

Update on Spot 3/5/16: I just saw an update on one of our Deaf Dogs Rock Sponsored dogs Spot. He was in really bad shape when Donna pulled him and he still has a tough road ahead but thank God for Rescue Warriors like Donna and her team.

Spot is feeling so much better. He is recovering from his Upper Respiratory Infection. It was very intense – it was one solid week of getting better – being crated, humidifier and medication = Feeling SUPER! He will be getting his ear surgeries as soon as he’s clear for his URI and he’s being receptive to playing with toys and being kissed! He’s coming around!
