We have been working with the Valley Humane League Shelter in Alamosa, CO to try to get Piggy neutered so he could be listed on Deaf Dogs Rock under our Adoptable Deaf Dogs Section. Since Piggy had been at the shelter for sometime now we knew if he got neutered we could list him but also it is much easier for a potential family to introduce a neutered male into an existing pack. I sent Paige Santini with the Valley Humane League a message stating if they got Piggy neutered we would reimburse the neuter surgery so we can get him up and listed. Paige got the wheels turning and the staff at Valley Humane League got Piggy neutered. I went ahead and mailed the full amount of the neuter surgery to the shelter today so they will be paid in full and we can start networking and helping Piggy find a new home. Thanks to our supporters we can help deaf dogs in need of neuter surgery to make them more adoptable to new families. Thank you all for your continued support.
