Update from Project Hope 3/05/2016: I wanted to give you an update on this guy. His name is now Sampson and he is a little older than what was posted at Memphis. The vet thinks he is closer to 8 or 9, which is no big deal for us. He is doing very well in his foster home and his foster mom is teaching him hand signals and he is catching on quickly. We are waiting until he gains some weight and we are not going to do his heartworm treatment yet until our vet gives us the ok. The fast kill may be a little too much for him, so we may go with slow kill on him just to be safe. Attached are pictures of this smiling boy. Thank you for helping us with his vet expenses and for sharing his story on your Facebook page!

Poor Sampson was dumped at the shelter but thanks to Project Hope Animal Rescue, Sampson is now out of the shelter and at the vet’s office. Deaf Dogs Rock went ahead and sent in a sponsorship for Sampson to help with his medical expenses. We should be getting his “freedom ride” photos soon from Patty from Project Hope Animal Rescue as soon as she picks him up from the vet’s office.

Thanks to our Deaf Dogs Rock supporters for giving so generously so we can help deaf dogs just like Sampson get out of kill shelters across the country. Look at his face, how could we say no to helping him? We couldn’t!

Thanks again Rockers!

Much love, Christina, Nitro, Bud, and Bowie
