Meet adoptable one year old deaf bully mix Daisy who is looking for a loving forever home with someone who will cherish her, teach her new sign cues and always keep her safe.
From her foster: More about deaf dog Daisy
My name is Daisy, I am a 1yr old, non aggressive, deaf cuddle bug. I was running a muck on the streets of Palmdale CA when I was nearly hit and ran over by a car. The driver Lupe, swiftly scooped me up and took me to safety. I had no tags nor a micro-chip so the search for my owners began on social media and was taken to a foster. Two days later foster, I fell ill and was taken to a second foster. My stray hold is up and since my owner has not been located, I’m now searching for my forever home.
I was spayed last Thurs on 7/18 as well as vaccinated. Walking on a leash is easy for me and I am non reactive to dogs. I could careless about cats plus I love everyone I meet! The only issue I have is that I cannot be left in the dark. Being in the dark is just too scary for me. I require a light on at night. I’m crate trained and since I’ve been mostly kept outside I probably could work on some additional house breaking. As you can imagine I’ve been through a lot the last few weeks and now my current foster now needs to place me ASAP.
I would love to be adopted by someone that has the experience in training a deaf dog but that’s in a perfect world. I would also like to live inside with my humans and not be scared at night outside.
Please reach out to Rosie should you wish to give me a save and loving forever home or know of someone with experience that might be looking to adopt a lovebug like me.
