Meet adoptable deaf 9 month old Dogo Argentino puppy Daisy who is looking for a loving forever home with somoene who will cherish her, make daily positive reinforcement sign training/socialization/enrichment a priority and always keep her safe.

From her rescue advocate:

Hi! I’m Daisy, a 9-month-old deaf Dogo Argentino girl rescued from a Florida shelter, and I’m looking for a very special person to be my forever best friend!
I may not be able to hear you, but that certainly doesn’t slow me down. I’m smart, spunky, silly, adventurous, energetic, and incredibly sweet. I’m learning sign language and doing great, but my forever person needs to be dedicated to continuing my training and teaching me sign language so we can communicate and build an amazing bond together.

My favorite things? ADVENTURES! I love going for walks, exploring new places, riding in the car, playing with friendly dogs and getting into just about anything fun.
But my greatest love is WATER.  Pools, kiddie pools, splashing, swimming—and yes, even MUD! Give me a pool and a muddy puddle and I’m pretty sure I’ve found heaven. My forever home needs to have a pool or be willing to get me my very own little pool because this girl was clearly a fish in a past life!

I also happen to be a serious foodie. I LOVE my meals and treats, and when you bring out the really good treats, I chatter my little teefs with excitement!  Food is also a great way to my heart—and a pretty fantastic training tool because I’m eager to learn when snacks are involved.

And if I decide you aren’t giving me quite enough attention? BOOP! I’ll give you a little nudge to remind you that Daisy requires some love, please.
I’m definitely a spunky little party girl, but underneath all that personality is a very precious, affectionate and sweet girl who wants to connect with her people.

Being deaf doesn’t define me. It just means I need a family willing to communicate with me a little differently. With continued sign-language training, structure, patience, adventures, plenty of treats and LOTS of water, I’m going to make someone an incredible best friend.

Could you be my person? Come make a splash with me!
— Daisy
