Photo Contest Update: 12-12-2011. Today my deaf dog Nitro and I received a big box of PetHoliday Christmas prizes from our friends at PetSmart to add to our Christmas Photo Contest here on Deaf Dogs Rock. If you get a chance go to PetSmart’s website and check out all the great Christmas collars, ornaments and sweaters for your pets. Now that we have more great prizes for our Deaf Dogs Rock Photo Contest on Facebook, we can award a 1st, 2nd and 3rd places prizes. This will take place after we choose our top 10 favorite photos (see details below) and three very lucky winners will win some great Christmas prizes from PetSmart.
Our first place winner will receive everything in the above photo plus some PAWSOME PetSmart prizes from the list below.

Contest Rules – December 1, 2011
December is finally here! Today Deaf Dogs Rock is launching their very first Christmas Contest on Facebook. So get your camera ready and start shooting some fun Christmas photos of you dog /dogs. This contest is for all dogs (hearing and deaf)! All you have to do is upload them to Deaf Dogs Facebook Wall. You can submit up to three photos for each household and be sure you number each photo 1, 2 or 3. This contest is for U. S. residents only (sorry shipping has gotten way to expensive). If you live outside our country and still want to participate (you will not qualify for a prize), you can submit your photo on our Deaf Dogs Rock Facebook page and put the Country you are from right under your photo.

Below are the original rules. Rules still apply with the exception we will be awarding 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners.
This contest will run starting today December 1, 2011. All submissions must be in by 10am on December 16, 2011. Chris, Nitro and I will pick our favorite 10 photos that will then be put up in an album on the Deaf Dogs Rock Facebook page for all of you to vote on. Voting on the final ten photos chosen will run starting December 16, 2011 at 10pm and running until 10am (Eastern Standard Time) December 18, 2011. The photo with the most “likes” on Deaf Dogs Rock Facebook Wall wins and we will announce a winner. Since we have not had a contest in two months everyone qualifies to play.
***If two or three of your photos get selected in the finals and two of your photos ends up in the top three “likes” you will not qualify for two prizes. If this happens, then Deaf Dogs Rock will go to the next highest number (which would be 4th place) and we will not add your two photos of “likes” together to make one total.
