Sweet China Doll’s rescue sponsorship was donated by the friends and family of the late Nancy Zushin of Cranberry Twp, PA.
Deaf Dogs Rock was sorry to hear one of our Deaf Dogs Rock followers Nancy Zushin had recently passed away. Nancy was a Deaf woman living in Cranberry Twp, PA who loved animals and loved our mission here at Deaf Dogs Rock to advocate and protect deaf dogs from being put to sleep by sponsoring them into rescues.
Because of Nancy’s kind heart, her family wrote in her farewell obituary to make memorial donations in Nancy’s honor to Deaf Dogs Rock. For the past 4 weeks donations in Nancy’s honor have been pouring into Deaf Dogs Rock headquarters. We wanted to put those funds to good use by sponsoring a deaf puppy named China Doll in Nancy’s honor. China Doll was transported by Christina and Chris Lee with Deaf Dogs Rock into rescue to Green Dogs Unleashed Rescue in Troy, VA. Because of the generosity of Nancy’s friends and family, Deaf Dogs Rock was able to donate a full rescue sponsorship to Green Dogs Unleashed for China Doll’s spay surgery and also to buy her high quality grain free dog food.
Thank you to the entire Zushin family (and friends) for your generous support in order to honor Nancy’s wishes and help Deaf Dogs Rock get another deaf puppy into rescue. We are so sorry for your loss and we pray you find comfort in knowing Nancy would be so happy to know you all came together to help a little deaf puppy named China Doll.
