Meet adoptable deaf and blind Great Dane Chevy who is looking for a loving forever  home where he will be the only pet with a person or a family who will cherish him and always keep him safe.

From his current caregiver: Chevy is looking for his people family!!

He’s is a giant, sweet 6-yo neutered Double Merle Great Dane, approximately 130-lbs.

My husband has had Chevy since he left his litter. He was born blind and deaf, but can perceive faint images up close and senses vibrations. His other senses, particularly his sense of smell, are remarkable.

Chevy doesn’t realize how big he is and often tries to back himself into your lap. He thrives on being part of the family — he adores human attention and cuddling.

He is so sweet and funny to watch. He has quite the personality!

It’s important to note that Chevy is a resource guarder when it comes to his food and other animals (he will protect his food).
For his own safety due to his disabilities, he needs a large fenced-in yard.
Chevy should be the only pet in the household.

Chevy would be and is good with older children – because his size can be intimidating and his tail can be a painful surprise.

He is comfortable in a kennel (or in his own room) for sleeping and when left alone, which is also essential for his safety.
