Meet adoptable deaf spaniel Caleb who is looking for a loving forever home with someone who will cherish him, make him a member of the family and always keep him safe.

From his rescue: Caleb came to Speak! St. Louis with his litter mate PJ and his mom Bella (already adopted). They were taken away from a living situation where they didn’t have much interaction with the outside world…they are all now more than happy to have a new chance at a new life!

Caleb is a playful young dog who is very intelligent, inquisitive and agile. He loves to play fetch and will keep himself busy with a good chew toy. Once he’s done playing, he’ll be ready to snuggle up next to his new fur-ever family! Caleb walks well on a leash and is working to master this ability. Caleb also does a good job going into his crate when he is asked with some help of treats, of course!

Caleb does fine with his many foster siblings but can be fearful of new dogs. Caleb would love to have a sibling or two to help with his confidence, keep him company and to play with too.

Little Caleb has very little hearing but sees fine. He keeps up with all the Aussies when running around the yard. Caleb is an active boy and needs an active family who will enjoy walks in the park and playing fetch in the backyard with him. His ideal new home would be with a loving human who can enjoy his company just as much as he will enjoy theirs!

Caleb is being fostered in St. Louis, MO. He is neutered,up-to-date vaccinations and is microchipped. He is taking monthly preventatives for flea/tick and heartworms and will need this in his new home as well.
