Bodie is a big handsome, friendly, smart bully mix who is looking for a loving forever home with someone who will cherish him, become his new best friend and always keep him safe.
From his rescue advocate: Bodie is a happy dog who is estimated to be around 3 to 4 years old. He is fully vetted very sweet. Bodie is a fast learner and loves to learn new sign cues. At some point in the past he must have been taught basic sign cues prior to being dumped at the shelter because he seems to know all of his sign cues. He will “sit” for treats, “give paw” when asked and he will “wait” until you give him the “release” sign to tell him he can eat.
Bodie is an amazing deaf dog. He’s good around chickens so far and he is doing well around other dogs. We do not know how he is with cats. Bodie is looking for an amazing and loving forever home with someone who will be truly committed to him.
If you are looking for a best buddy and wonderful family companion here he is and you will not be disappointed. He is a wonderful dog and I’m sure that he will take the hand signals quite well. He seems to be doing just fine in his current foster home but we are hoping to find him his very own forever home.
