Blue is not easily startled, despite being deaf. Even if she is woken up from a deep sleep, she greets us in a happy, relaxed way. Blue does not guard food or toys; in fact, despite her size (and her need to drop a few pounds), she does not eat a lot and is picky about her treats (she likes cut up cheddar cheese a lot!). She is a fast learner and has picked up new commands quickly (such as sit, down, watch, and touch).
