Update 8/6/17: Blossom has been adopted!

From GDU: Blossom, her brother, and 2 sisters are pure bred Cocker Spaniel pups, who came to GDU from a family who did not realize that their two Cocker Spaniels carried a recessive Merle gene. Four pups out of a litter of 9 were born deaf or deaf and vision impaired. They reached out to GDU to help.
Blossom is energetic, curious and fearless. She hasn’t met a belly rub she doesn’t like and has no qualms about trying to rough house a full grown Saint Bernard. She likes to treat cats like puppies, run full steam at them to play and for this reason; cats may not like to be around her much. Maybe the curiosity of the furry razor blade roommates will wear off with time and patience.
She, like Marshmallow her sister, is food motivated which is fantastic for training this little ball of beauty.
Blossom is Deaf with some vision impairment, though not enough to keep her from running and playing, as most any puppy would! She does a solid “sit” with hand signals and she checks in regularly.
