Hi! My name is Blizzard, just like the ice cream treat, because I am such a sweetie to be around! I am a 55-pound, 1-year-old Dogo Argentino mix who is looking for a loving forever home with someone who will cherish me, become my new best friend, make daily positive reinforcement sign training/socialization/enrichment a priority and always keep me safe.

I am an ahh-mazing, happy- go-lucky guy, who gets along with everyone, from kids to adults, small dogs to big dogs, and even kitties. I was found as a stray in Cleveland, Ohio in the cold winter months, and I was lucky to find my way to Multiple Breed Rescue. I stayed in their training facility for a while, where I learned how to sit, stay, come, shake, and lay down – all with hand commands!

Now, I am in a foster home where I am staying with kids, dogs, & cats. I have been a great house guest, other than I can’t hear when they call me for dinner (but I sure can smell when food is ready!). I have adjusted to a family routine seamlessly, and I have proved to be house trained and crate trained too (I keep my crate clean all day while my foster family is at work)! Although I am most likely fully grown, I can still show some silly puppy manners when I get excited, so I will need a family who loves to laugh, and will continue to work with me on maintaining my training (if you have a treat, I am VERY focused, and will watch you for commands!). I enjoy playing with other dogs, and I share my toys, but I am not reliant on the dogs in my foster home.

I am great on leash walks, and could maybe even be trained as a running partner: as long as I am with humans, I am happy! I will need an adopter who has a fenced-in yard however , because I enjoy zoomies and those are hard to do on a leash! A fence will keep me contained and make sure I can always find my way back to you.

I am looking for an active person, or family, who loves to include me in their daily routine: I follow my foster family around the house for all activities from folding laundry to completing yard work. I have also gone out on many car outings to run errands, and even watch baseball games. I love to end the day snuggled up with “my humans” to watch tv.

*All dogs available for adoption through Multiple Breed Rescue are in foster homes. Please do not visit the location as it is a privately run boarding, training, and grooming facility. Meet and greets are scheduled by appointment only for approved adopters.*
