Meet adoptable deaf 3 year old American Bulldog (mix) Blanca who is looking for a loving home with an person who will provide structure, daily positive reinforcement training/enrichment and always keep her safe. She is available for adoption or rescue.

From her shelter advocate: Hi, I’m Blanca – your next couch potato best friend, therapist, and chicken deterrent all in one fabulous package!

I’m a 3-year-old bulldog mix with a heart of gold, a love for people, cats, and dogs… and a totally irrational vendetta against chickens (seriously, they know what they did.

I was brought in by animal control from Douglas Hyatt Rd in Horton on 5/18/25, and I’m available for adoption or rescue RIGHT NOW – no waiting, just loving!

I may be deaf and have some vision trouble in one eye, but trust me—I still strut like a supermodel and snuggle like a pro. I may not be like the other dogs, but I get by just fine. I’m unique, I’m strong, and I’ve got more love to give than a room full of golden retrievers.

If you’re looking for a hilarious, soulful, chicken-hating sweetheart, come get me out of here and into your heart

Tag a rescue, share this post, adopt me, or come say hi! Let’s show the world that different is beautiful.
