Meet adoptable deaf, 7 month old border collie mix Bindi who is looking for a loving home with someone who will cherish her, make daily positive reinforcement training/socialization/enrichment a priority and always keep her safe.
From her shelter advocate: This sweet deaf girl Bindi is ready to find her forever home. We pulled Bindi from animal control, where she was picked up as a stray.
Bindi is mostly white with grey speckles, pricked ears, and a long, fluffy tail. She weighs 30lbs and has a double coat.
Bindi has a lot of energy and enthusiasm for life, so she would thrive in an active household. She is a little nervous around other dogs at first, but warms up quickly.
She’s very friendly with all people, even strangers.
While not a requirement, Bindi would benefit from an owner who is willing to take the time to train her using daily positive reinforcement training/socialization/enrichment and provide her with structure.
Bindi is currently at the Humane Society of Tuolumne County, located in Jamestown, CA. We are a no kill shelter, so she will remain here until adopted.
