Meet adoptable deaf 3 year old, Big Mac who is a 3 year old American Staffordshire/pit bull terrier mix who is looking for a loving and safe forever home. Big Mac is 75 pounds of pure joy and he deserves a loving home with someone who will become his new best friend.

Big Mac graduated from a 13 week private training program at Precision Dog Training Academy and is house trained, kennel trained and knows basic obedience including sit, down, platform, stay, free and heel and is a quick learner if food is involved. He loves to sleep but also has an energetic side that can be worn off with zoomies, long walks outdoors, treadmill walks and other dog playtime.

Big Mac is people and dog friendly but would need a dog companion that can properly correct him and teach him how to play as he loves to but doesn’t quite know how. He is a cuddler and likens himself to a lap dog and splits his time sleeping on the floor, dog beds, sofas, human beds, his kennel and his humans. He would thrive in a home where someone has time to spend with him, can continue his training and has a fenced yard for zoomies.

He is being rehomed due to no fault of his own. His dog sibling has not been able to neutralize his feelings and has become aggressive towards him so he cannot thrive in the way he should be able to. Big Mac comes as the full package of a loving dog with a Roughland Kennel, kennel mat, kong bed, slow feeder, treat bag and his bully make toy.

Big Mac’s adoption fee is $100 to a carefully screened and approved home only. It helps to live within driving distance of Lees Summit MO so you can meet  him in person.
