From his rescue advocate: Baloo is a 1-year-old male Great Pyrenees mix with a heart as big as his fluffy paws. Weighing about 50 lbs, this handsome white boy has already overcome more than most—surviving life on the streets of Oklahoma and bravely beating parvo. His journey has shaped him into a resilient, affectionate, and truly special dog.

Baloo is deaf, but don’t let that fool you—he’s smart, eager to learn, and doing great with training. He already knows sit, no, and is currently working on potty training. He is crate trained, walks nicely on a leash, and enjoys car rides like a champ.

With a medium to low energy level, Baloo loves a good mix of outdoor fun and relaxing in the grass. He thrives in the company of others and does wonderfully with dogs, cats, and kids. A home with another dog and a fenced yard would be ideal for him, as he enjoys having a buddy and safe space to explore.

True to his Great Pyrenees roots, Baloo can be a little stubborn at times, but he’s also incredibly sweet—especially when it comes to giving gentle, heart-melting kisses. He’s looking for a patient, loving family who will continue his training and provide consistent guidance.
