Meet adoptable 7 month old red heeler puppy Anderson Cooper who is looking for a loving home with someone who will love him, continue making consistent positive reinforcement training a priority and always keep him safe.

Hi my name is Anderson Cooper! (Even though my listing at Paws on the Ground is Bohdi, my foster mom decided I was way too handsome for that name and needed to be called something much more glamorous.)

I was picked up roaming the reservation in Clovis, New Mexico and made my way to my foster family in Denver, Colorado. My foster mom will tell you what a sweet, affectionate, loyal boy I am. I live with three whippets and I get along with everyone just fine. I especially like my foster brother, Albus, who is around my same age of nine months. We love to play chase and tug-of-war for hours on end.

I am a happy, confident, free spirit who will make someone a great friend. I like to do things with my people and especially like to go to the dog park, where I do a good job of keeping eyes on my people and my pack. I still need some work on learning not to counter-surf and that shoes are not food, but that’s normal puppy stuff. I’m looking for a forever home with someone that would love a very smart, handsome, and trainable fellow. I am house trained and rarely bark.
