Two weeks ago I traveled to Chandler, Arizona to represent our Deaf Dogs Rock organization at the National BlogPaws Conference near Phoenix, AZ. If I would have had more time over the weekend, I was hoping to make it over to one of the Amazing Aussies Lethal White Rescue of Arizona’s adoption events. Our Deaf Dogs Rock community loves the rescue work they do to rescue, foster, and adopt Double Merle Aussies to new loving homes.

The Amazing Aussies have a rockin rescue team of rescue warriors who take their deaf and deaf/blind dogs to adoption events every weekend so the dogs can find new forever homes.

Unfortunately I did not have the time to make it over to one of their adoption events but I wanted them to know how much our Deaf Dogs Rock community appreciates the work they do.  I contacted Terry Black with Amazing Aussies to let her know our DDR community wanted to purchase their Aussie rescue 500 pounds of dog food to feed their rescue pups. I texted my husband Chris and asked him to make the donation for us (on a secure line since I was staying at a hotel).

Thanks to all of our Deaf Dogs Rock supporters who help us help wonderful organizations like Amazing Aussies Lethal White Rescue of Arizona.

After the donation was sent to the Amazing Aussies this is the message we received from their organization:

 

Dear Christina,

Thanks for all you do for all the deaf dogs!  We appreciate your donation for Amazing Aussies!  We love what we do.

We wish you had time to come out to meet some of our dogs at the event tomorrow, but I know your schedule is full.
