Meet adoptable 10 month old deaf dog Agnes who is looking for a loving forever home with someone who will continue her training using positive reinforcement training/socialization/enrichment and always keep her safe.

From her caregiver: Agnes is a 10-month-old beautiful girl who has some special needs – she is deaf and blind in one eye. Otherwise, she is just like any other pup; she likes long walks, chewing on bones and toys, and loves treats. She knows sign language (sit, stay, down, walk, come) and picks up new signs very easily. It takes her a few minutes to settle in her crate at night but once she is in, she is out for the night. She is house trained, well-behaved on a leash, and very responsive to treat-training. She cuddles up on the couch with you at night, and loves naps during the day. Sometimes, she really thinks she is a lap dog!

A household that has a routine (she loves her schedule), time to work on her continued training, and not a lot of chaos would best suit Ag. A fenced in yard is ideal so she has room to roam freely. If you live near a lake, all the better because this girl loves to swim! A home without other dogs would be best as she is generally fine with them but really doesn’t like small dogs.

Agnes adoption fee is $250 to an approved home. You would also need to live within two hours of Allentown, PA to meet Agnes in person. If you are interested in adopting her, please contact Mary Ellen Jackson at mejackson@mac.com to have her send you a blank adoption application to fill out.
