Meet adoptable deaf Great Pyrenees/heeler mix S’more who is looking for a loving forever home in a home with no small children. Since small children can be very unpredictable S’more would be more comfortable in a home with adults. S’more is larger at 102 pounds of pure love and joy.

From his caregiver: S’more has been a part of our family since early 2023, he is a big cuddle bug and truly a goofy guy.
He is a big guy, 102lbs
He does great with other medium/large dogs. He lives in our home with a husky sister.

HE DOES NOT LIKE CATS.
Rehoming him is the hardest thing we are having to do, but unfortunately we have learned he does not do well with kids and we have a toddler.
A couple months ago he began growling and showing teeth towards her in her play pen, we tried everything to work on that behavior and have kept them separated but at least S’more let us know when he was in a uncomfortable position. More recently he did nip at her, he did not make contact (more of a warning).
We don’t want to see him go from our family however it has become an unsafe environment for our daughter and truly a not happy environment for S’more, he needs a home where he can be relaxed and happy.

S’more’s adoption fee is $50 to a screened and approved home only. You also must live within 50 miles of Douglasville, GA to be considered for S’more’s adoption.
