Meet adoptable deaf 17 week old Corgi/Blue heeler mix puppy Spot who is looking for a loving forever home with someone who will cherish him, make daily positive reinforcement sign training/socialization/enrichment a priority and always keep him safe.
From his caregiver: This sweet 17-week-old male Corgi mix is looking for a loving, committed family to call his own!
He is deaf, with his deafness confirmed by a veterinarian, but that doesn’t stop him from having the potential to be a wonderful companion. Deaf dogs can learn to communicate through hand signals, visual cues, and positive-reinforcement training. He needs a family willing to understand his unique needs, help him learn, and give him the time and patience every puppy deserves.
We are hoping to find him a safe, stable, and permanent home with someone who will love him for who he is. His ideal family will be committed to his training, keep him safely secured on walks and outdoors, and understand the importance of waking or approaching a deaf dog gently so he isn’t startled.
He is still a young puppy with so much life ahead of him and so much potential to bring love and companionship to the right family.
