Meet adoptable deaf Australian Cattle Dog (red heeler) Asher who is a one year old looking for a loving forever home with someone who will become his new best friend, teach him new sign cues and always keep him safe.

From his rescue advocate: Asher is a wonderful 1 yr old Australian Cattle Dog (ACD) with excellent conformation (but no papers) and a great temperament! Despite being deaf, he’s clearly capable and eager to bond with his owner through hand signals and continued training. His love for exploring, playing with other dogs, and even getting along with cats makes him a sociable and adaptable companion. He is about 39 lbs is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, and microchipped. He is ready to be an active and loving member of any family. Somebody out there is going to hit the jackpot with this exceptionally smart boy.
