Meet adoptable deaf 5 month old bully mix puppy Mila who is looking for a loving forever home with someone who will cherish her, make daily positive reinforcement training/socialization/enrichment a priority and always keep her safe.

From her shelter advocate: Mila is around 5 months old, super sweet and full of energy! She is a beautiful white Pitbull/Pitbull mix, and she is ready to find her new furever home!! Mila was surrendered due to her previous family losing housing and having to move into a hotel and had nowhere for her to go. Mila is great with other dogs just very vocal when she plays, and she can sometimes be a little rough. She will also guard her food if another dog gets to close (huddles over to scarf it down and low growls) but does understand a visual correction. She should be fed separately from other animals.

Her favorite thing to do in the world is to run around and play. She will chase you, play with every toy she can get access to and give you a thousand kisses a minute. She will need basic training due to that the previous family did not realize she was deaf, and they just assumed she was hardheaded and wouldn’t listen to them, but we are working on hand signals here at the shelter to try to help jump start her training. She would really love a family (maybe with older children) who will love her forever, give her the time and patience she needs and give her all the play time and stuffies in the world!
