Mila-Adopted

Update 2/12/25: Mila has been adopted.

From Colonial Heights Animal Control Team: With Mila being shared so many times, and with Deaf Dogs Rock posting her as well, she was seen all over. We had a couple rescues reaching out that were ready to pull her, however we received a wonderful email from this fabulous lady who was interested in adopting Mila, ready to give her a forever home. She has experience owning a deaf dog and was finally ready to open her home and heart back up to a new baby. We thought this was the best fit for her. She is getting spayed this Thursday, after that, Mila, now known as Ducky, will be heading home to live on the beach and living a better life than us here at the shelter, we kind of want to go with her LOL. We are thrilled for her.
