Willow is an almost 2 year old Catahoula Cur Mix originally from Louisiana who is looking for a loving forever  home with someone who will cherish her, provide a structured routine and make daily positive reinforcement training a priority.

Deaf Catahoula Willow is a double merle, she was born deaf and has slight visual impairment- no issues with her eye health! We adopted Willow from BARK and she has been living in Ontario since May 2024. Willow has some complex behavioral issues we are open to discussing at length with any interested adopters- we have an assessment from a behaviorist including a personalized training program we will pass along with her. Willow has anxiety, she is on Fluoxetine and is currently working on finding the perfect dose for her.

She knows signs- sit, yes, lay down, back up, and outside. Willow is really fast at understanding boundaries in the house. She has anxiety about being crated, we are still working on that with her. She is currently living with another dog but it is in her best interest for her next home that she is the only dog! She is comfortable with cats, has never reacted or chased. She LOVES fetch and she loves being outside but is a low-medium energy dog. Naps most of the day away and is winded a few minutes into play sessions. So far she is faring good in the cold but does wear a coat when its particularly windy!
