Meet adoptable deaf, 3 year old Australian Cattle dog mix Spot who is looking for a loving forever home with someone who will cherish him, provide a structured routine, make daily positive reinforcement training/enrichment a priority and always keep him safe.
From his current caregiver: Spot is a super sweet, loving 3ish year-old-cattle dog mix who we took on as a foster from a high-kill shelter. He is completely deaf, but that doesn’t make him shy! She’s super smart, active, and great with both kids, all adults, and other dogs.
Spot is pretty high energy and needs lots of stimulation. He’s been living on a farm with lots to do and room to run. He hasn’t really ever lived inside as far as we know, so he will need some patient training as he learns some inside rules. His foster is working on his house training now and he is getting the hang of it. He’d do best in an environment where he has lots of support, room to run, and maybe other dogs to play with.
