Meet adoptable deaf, one year old terrier mix Audio who is looking for a loving forever home with someone who will cherish him, continue his training/socialization using positive reinforcement training methods and always keep him safe.
From his rescue advocate: My name is Audio and I am currently finishing up my training at the Soledad Correctional Training Institution where I have been for the last 4 months. I am a 1 year old Terrier mix and was born deaf (hence the name Audio), but I don’t allow that to deter me from having fun! South County Animal Rescue helped get me out of the shelter a few months ago when I arrived as a stray.
Deaf Dogs Rock helped with my training program and I can proudly say that I can understand (ASL) American Sign Language as well as other hand signals that my amazing trainers created! My favorite game is fetch.. with a ball, but it’s best you have 2, because sometimes I forget to bring it back! In the last few weeks I have made great leaps into learning how to bring it back. I am very friendly with other dogs and people. The key to my heart is massages and play time! I am great on a leash and fully house trained. If you’re interested in bring home a handsome, smart, fully trained furry friend (ME) into your home .. contact South County Animal Rescue!
