We are so excited that one of our very own Deaf Dogs Rock Ambassadors Karlie Waldrip and her deaf heeler Rhett are working on a new children’s book. We can’t wait to follow their journey into publishing their story of how Karlie adopted deaf dog Rhett and became a family. Karlie and Rhett bring so much to the table sharing their life with everyone and educating and promoting that deafness does not have to hold you back. They deaf-intely ROCK!
Here is more from Karlie:
For those who do not know us, Rhett and I are both deaf! We are so excited to announce that we are self-publishing a children’s book “I Deaf-initely Can, Rhett The Heeler.” It will be about Rhett and his experiences as a deaf dog all written in his perspective! Along with mentioning a little bit about dogs with different disabilities. Our book is being illustrated by a deaf illustrator named Lucy Rogers, who lives in the UK!
You can subscribe now to be the first ones to know about updates on our book and when it will be ready to purchased at www.rhetttheheeler.com
