I got a plea from a nice woman who was on the waiting list for a Liver transplant and she needed to find her high energy Boston Terrier puppy Lola a loving home. I feared putting Lola up on our Deaf Dogs Rock FB page because I knew Loralee her owner would be just so swamped with people who would want a purebred Boston Terrier puppy and I also worried about “dog flippers”.
I told Loralee I wanted to get Lola to a loving rescue where she could go right into a loving foster home and start her sign training. Loralee agreed so we reached out to Karla at iRescue in Texas to see if she had room for Lola. As soon as Karla saw Lola’s photo she made a few phone calls and lined up a loving foster home for Lola now named Lolita.
Lolita is now available for adoption and she is currently located at iRescue in Killeen Texas. Thanks Karla for being Lolita’s advocate and taking her into rescue. Click here to view her adoption listing.
We want to wish Loralee a speedy recovery and we also pray she gets a new liver. We also want to thank her for reaching out to Deaf Dogs Rock and being a loving advocate for her sweet puppy.
Thanks to our friend Cherri and Bryan Gentry for making a donation to Deaf Dogs Rock so we could sponsor Lolita into rescue. You two ROCK!
