My deaf dog Micky is an amazing, sweet American Bulldog mix, and he’s proven to be the ideal family pet. We did not set out searching for a deaf dog to adopt when we discovered him 5 years ago, but we could not resist his charms.

Here are some of the highlights of Mickey’s life story so far; He has a willingness to be absolutely still while my daughter piles action figures on him (Mount Mickey, she calls him).

Micky’s has love and devotion to each and every one of his family members. He has a tremendous capacity to NAP! Mickey has really expressive deaf-dog moans he makes when he really, really needs our attention. We could not love Micky more! Mickey hears us with his heart!
