Meet adoptable deaf, two year old Ziggy who is looking for a loving home with someone who is familiar with Canine Obsessive Compulsive Disorder to help redirect him when he is shadow and light pouncing and be dedicated to daily positive reinforcement training. Redirection 100% of the time is key to get over this compulsion. He needs someone who will make him a priority, love him, be his advocate, and always keep hims safe.
From his current caregiver: We adopted Ziggy 1 year ago as a rescue. He is a wonderful little long haired Whippet. We have taught him a few commands and he is able to learn. However, he does have a sensitivity to light and shadows which cause him to bark incessantly.
We also think he shows signs of autism, given some of his mannerisms.
