Meet adoptable deaf 7 month old Australian Shepherd boy Splash who is looking for a loving forever home with someone who will cherish him, make positive reinforcement training/socialization/enrichment a priority and always keep him safe.

From his rescue advocate: Hi, I’m Splash because I make waves and have a curly tail!

I am a male Australian Shepherd. I am 7 months old and weigh 36 pounds. I am potty trained, get along with kids, and know some basic commands. I would be the perfect fit for any family!

I came to Speak! after a kind lady rescued me from a bad situation. While I am deaf and vision impaired, it doesn’t slow me down a bit. I am super smart and have been learning ASL in my foster home. My vision issues impact me the most at night, but reassurance from my human companion helps!

I mostly get along with my foster dog brothers but tend to do better with non-intrusive companions (this may also improve after my neuter). I would also be okay as an only dog if I have some toys for solo play. I will need a home with a fenced-in yard to keep me safe.

I am shy at first around strangers, but I warm up quickly and will become your best friend. My favorite things are cuddling, licking human feet, and being outside! I still have a lot of puppy energy and would love to do some doggy sports!

I am being fostered in Pittsburgh, PA. Before adoption, I will be neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccines/prevention. If you are interested in meeting me, please complete an adoption application at 🐾
