Meet deaf dogs Sir Charles who is looking for a foster home or foster to adopt home. Sir Charles came to us from a local animal control. He has spent time in two foster homes, and most recently a very long time in boarding after his last foster could no longer keep him. He is in desperate need of an experienced foster family!

He is deaf and will need to learn sign language, and then get some training to address some OCD issues – specifically with sticks and branches. Our rescue will provide training resources once he gets into a home and decompresses from his time in boarding.

Sir Charles gets on well with other dogs. He should not be in a home with cats, and needs an adult home with people experienced with bully breeds and special needs dogs.

Much of the time, Charles is a lovable, happy, friendly, funny guy who loves people. He can get over-excited and a bit mouthy when he’s over-excited.

He will need exercise to expend a good deal of pent up energy from boarding. A securely fenced yard is pretty much of a must for him.

If you can provide what Charles needs in a family, and would like to help out a totally deserving dog, please fill out our application – https://www.furryfriendsct.org/foster-application
