Meet adoptable deaf 2.5 year old Sheena who is looking for a loving home with someone who will cherish her, always keep her safe and have her be the only dog.

From her advocate: Sheena is so full of love and affection for everyone she meets. She is very easy-going, so she’s up for anything, whether playing in the yard, snuggling on the couch, or gazing at you lovingly as you work from home.

Sheena is deaf, so she loves to always be nearby where she can see you. She’s very intuitive at reading body language, so she’s quick to learn new skills like come and sit. She has a very calm demeanor, and hardly ever barks. But when she is very excited, she likes to snort like a piglet!

Sheena also has a fun-loving goofy side. When she was getting her picture taken at the shelter, she jumped into the bin of sweaters! She was having a great time and made everyone laugh.

Her favorite hobbies include going for walks, getting belly rubs, giving kisses, watching TV (she loves it when an animal comes onto the screen), and going for joyrides in the car.

Sheena:
– Is two and a half years old
– Medium Energy (sometimes gets the zoomies but also loves to nap)
– Is fully house and potty trained
– Is great in the car
– Is easy to walk on the leash
– Is very gentle

Sheena is currently living in a foster home in Atlanta, GA. She is available for adoption through the LifeLine Community Animal Center. Please email foster@lifelineanimal.org for more information about Sheena or to schedule a meet and greet.

All animals adopted from LifeLine Animal Project are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped. Sheena also tested negative for heartworms.
