Meet adoptable, 11 year old, deaf dog Scoob who is 19 pounds of pure joy looking for a person or family to cherish him and always keep him safe.
From his foster family: Hello world! My name is Scoob and I’m quite the dapper gentleman. I was left at Franklin County Dog Shelter in pretty bad shape. My mouth had sores all over so the specialty mouth doctor had to take some teeth out because I was really neglected.
I also had really bad untreated ear infections which caused me to be deaf. I can hear really loud booms/vibrations and communicate fantastically with my awesome eye contact. That’s enough about my old life though!
My new life is filled with so much joy! I am an enthusiastic, spry and polite small mixed breed. I am 19lbs (not too small, not too big!). I adore people, children, other dogs, and even cats! I am house trained, crate trained, and love walks. I play with my three other foster siblings. My foster mom even took me to the river where I played by the water. Don’t let my older age fool you!
I’m a companion for life and will be the adorable dog that people bring on the patio with them. I am so calm and go with the flow that my foster mom says I’m going to find a family that’s so over the moon with me they will cry. I come neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and just had a full dental check up and ready to go! Will you adopt me?
