Update 9/10/11: Quinton has been transferred to White Diamond Double Merle Dane Rescue in Delaware.

8/17/22: Meet adoptable deaf puppy Quinton who is looking for a very special home with someone who will love and recognizes his specially abled super powers and someone who will commit to positive reinforcement training/socialization/enrichment and always keep him safe.

From his rescue advocate: I am Quinton and I am a cute little booger. I was rescued from a mobile home park on a very busy street in Southeast Texas. I was in horrible condition. I was dehydrated, I had fleas and bug bites all over me when they found me. After some TLC and a lot of good food, I am finally ready to search for my new loving forever home.

I am a Catahoula mix puppy. I am called a Blue Merle in color. I am a handsome boy. I am deaf which means I have special super powers. Read the top 10 reasons why deaf puppies like me totally rock  here.

My ideal family is one that is willing to put in the time and put forth the effort for me flourish in my new home by committing to positive reinforcement training/enrichment/socialization to build a strong and healthy well adjusted training foundation. Deaf dogs can be trained just like a hearing dogs, just with hand signals and you can read more about that training here. This training and commitment on my family’s part will create a strong bond between us and I will be a very loyal companion.

Keep in mind, I am all puppy which means I do have some bad puppy habits like jumping, chewing, accidental scratching and maybe some potty accidents for sure. It will take love, guidance, patience and structure so I don’t chew up some of your prized possessions. But with daily positive reinforcement training, I can be fun and enjoyable part of any family.

I was born in mid-June 2022
