Meet adoptable deaf 6 month old Cattle Dog mix Penny who is looking for a loving forever home with someone who will cherish her, continue her positive reinforcement training and always keep her safe.

From her foster: Penny is the sweetest girl! She is very mellow. Already tunes in to me ( her foster) and comes to my wave every time! She responds very well to positive reinforcement training methods.

Penny gets along with my Alaskan Malamute and doesn’t bother my Malti-Pom. She plays well with her sister (who is not deaf) too. She loves toys and will grab them and chew on them throughout the day and has not chewed on anything of mine. She doesn’t bark (once or twice when all the other dogs are up in arms) or jump on me.

She likes to snuggle but is fine laying by herself too. She sleeps on her dog bed (or with me on nights I let her), but has done fine her crate all night as well. She is learning to walk on a leash (doesn’t pull just has never had the opportunity so she’s nervous). I am in the process of setting up training for her to learn some signs and to continue to promote her checking in with me frequently. She will make an amazing companion for somebody.
